Welcome to Biomedical Data Science Laboratory, Department of Information System Engineering, School of System Design and Technology, Tokyo Denki University.
Our research interest includes bioinformatics as data-driven science, aiming to accelerate life science research by applying artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
Our new review article on RNA informatics, co-authored with Prof. Hamada, has been published in Briefings in Bioinformatics. Sato, K. & Hamada, M. Recent trends in RNA informatics: a review of machine learning and deep learning for RNA secondary structure prediction and RNA drug discovery.
Seven new undergraduate students have joined our laboratory to conduct their graduation research. Members
Web servers for RNA secondary structure prediction have been moved to our university.
Our review paper on RNA secondary structure prediction has been published in RNA Structure Prediction (Methods in Molecular Biology, Springer).
Prof. Sato joined Gordon Research Conference: RNA Nanotechnology and gave a poster presentation.
